Work Study
Do you love the arts? Do need a little help affording all the classes you want to take? Stop in at the office and apply for our Work Study Program. After careful consideration a select few students will be allowed to work off their bill by either being assigned to a specific teacher organizing papers, files, etc, assisting classes, or cleaning the studio.
Community Service
As some of you may know, some high schools require a certain amount of community service hours in order for seniors to graduate. Here at Strike It Up, we have so many programs that could take on community service volunteers: such as Dance, Theater, Music, Art, Fitness, Health and Wellness, Childhood Education and Special Needs. Just stop into our main office for more information.
Nelson Keidrowski Scholarship
Nelson Kiedrowski was a beloved member of our Strike It Up family. He was one of our very first "Dance Dads", and was a huge contributor with the move from our original Ridge Road Studio and Renovations to our expanded location on Rt. 104. He built many of the props and set pieces for the studio, for his grand-kid's acting classes, and many of which are still used today. His love of the arts reached out into the community when he became the PAC adult coordinator at Wayne Central, running technical sound and lighting elements for our end of the year Showcase. For many years, he assisted in the design of the award winning floats in the Webster Firemen's Carnival and Winter parade, which he proudly towed with his truck.
